Option 1: (good) Insuladd Insulating Additive for paint added to your locally available house paint. Apply 2 coats of paint with Insuladd for best results.
(This is a simple basic system recommended for use where a normal re-painting is planned and where priming or extremes in outdoor temperatures are not a factor, it also provides the ease of choosing any paint color that you desire from your local paint store. You will want to purchase 1 pouch of Insuladd for every gallon of paint you will be using or 1 Jug of Insuladd® for every 5 gallon pail of paint you will be using.)

This system will not only greatly increase the energy efficiency of your home but will also act as a moisture barrier. This system is recommended for new construction, for painting projects that require the use of a primer. It is especially effective for homes that are older and have poor insulation and for areas where winter and/or summer temperatures are extreme.
